Joe Globensky, RFC®

Joe joined Level Four Group as a partner in 2002. During his sixteen years in the Financial Services industry, he has worked across a variety of areas including: fee-based asset management, product development, business planning, practice management, new business development, and sales and operations training. Before joining Level Four Group, Joe served as a consultant to several of the largest CPA firms in the country. He was also Manager of Practice Development and Manager of Advisory Services Marketing at 1st Global. Prior to joining 1st Global, Joe spent three years at H.D. Vest Financial Services working in the Operations Department as well as partnering with a registered representative in developing a financial services practice.

Joe graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance. He received his Masters of Science in Finance from Texas A&M University. He is a Registered Financial Consultant, Life, Accident and Health insurance agent, and holds NASD Series 4, 7, 24, 53, 55, 63 and 65 securities licenses. Joe, his wife Jennifer, and their two children reside in Frisco, Texas.

Darryn Pope, CFP®, CFS

Darryn joined Level Four Group as a partner in 2002 and is in his 21st year in the financial services industry. Prior to Level Four Group, he served as the National Business Development Manager for the GE Independent Accountants Network and was responsible for their national recruiting effort. He also had responsibilities as a Regional Sales Manager training and supporting representatives in Texas. Darryn also spent eight years growing and training the representative base of HD Vest Financial Services.

Darryn has been actively involved with the DFW Humane Society for over fourteen years, including terms as a board member and President of the Board of Directors. He is a Certified Financial Planner, Certified Fund Specialist, Life, Accident and Health insurance agent, and holds NASD Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 securities licenses. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a double major in Marketing and Management from Texas A&M University. Darryn, his wife Cindy, and their two children live in Hurst, Texas.

Jake Tomes

Jake is a founding partner of Level Four Group. He began his financial career as a State Farm agent working in the North Dallas area. He served as the life, accident and health insurance specialist for local traditional property and casualty agents. Jake joined 1st Global to help develop the company into a multi-million dollar insurance agency catering to the accounting and legal communities.

Jake graduated from Ambassador University and attended graduate school at University of North Texas. He holds NASD Series 7, 24, and 66 securities licenses and is a Life, Accident, Health, and Property/Casualty insurance agent. Jake, his wife Tara, and their two children reside in Oak Point, Texas.

Brian Gongwer

Brian began his career with Level Four in 2007 and became a partner in 2009. He began his financial services career as a Senior Key Account Manager at Lincoln Financial Group, securing product distribution agreements with Broker/Dealers across the country. He then joined Ash Brokerage as their National Sales Director where he served in the recruitment process while also specializing in large case design and placement.

Brian holds his Life, Accident and Health and Property/Casualty license. Brian, his wife Kara, and their two children reside in Little Elm, Texas.
